This coupling goes on the steering shaft that connects to the steering box.

This coupling is also a great upgrade for your GQ or GU as rather than the stock rubber joint this coupling uses a uni styler joint . It fits straight on the GQ/GU steering shaft and only requires 2 additional bolts as the patrol bolts are different. These can can be purchased separately.
